Pool & Playground – Hours & Rules

There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty! Swim at own risk.  Please keep this in mind when using the pool. Each homeowner is responsible for their family’s safety and behavior.  Pool rules are listed below – please review these with your children.

For the safety of all residents, if an accident involving bodily fluids occurs in the pool, get all swimmers out of the water and contact a member of the committee immediately.  **Swim diapers are required for all non-potty trained children**

Pool Access: THE GATE MUST BE CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. You must have a key to enter the pool area.  Pool keys must be transferred to new residents at closing.  Replacement keys are $5.  If a replacement key is needed, please contact a board member or pool chairman.  **Jumping over the gate or fence is not allowed**

Pool Parties: The pool cannot be closed for private parties.  Please use the courtesy calendar at the pool to let others know when your party is or to coordinate if there will be 2 parties on the same day.  The homeowner hosting the party is responsible for all guests’ behavior.  The homeowner must clean up afterward and put all trash in the pool trash cans behind the fence.

Pool Rules

  1. An adult (18 years old or older) must accompany children under 14 years of age.
  2. All guests must be accompanied by a Woodington resident.
  3. No animals are allowed in the fenced pool area at any time.
  4. No diving
  5. No running on the pool deck.
  6. No pool equipment and/or furniture should be used as play items.
  7. No bicycles, skateboards or riding toys of any kind will be allowed inside the pool fence.
  8. Please shower before swimming.
  9. Swim diapers are required. No disposable diapers – they cause damage to the pool filter and could result in additional cost to homeowners.
  10. No glass of any kind is allowed in the fenced pool area.
  11. No smoking or vaping.
  12. No underage drinking will be tolerated.
  13. Food and drinks are allowed. Please clean up any remaining food, drink or trash.
  14. Restrooms are for the residents using the pool. – PLEASE KEEP THEM NEAT & CLEAN.

ABSOLUTELY NO INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR WILL BE TOLERATED! 

ALL residents have the right and the authority to ask anyone misbehaving, damaging or defacing the pool area and/or facilities to leave the pool area.  Repeat offenders will be fined.  Thank you for your cooperation.  Please e-mail the Board at [email protected] or contact the Pool Chairperson to report any vandalism.

Playground Rules

  1. HOURS: Dawn to Dusk
  2. Use at your own risk.
  3. Guests must be accompanied by a resident.
  4. Children under 10 yrs old must be accompanied by a responsible party.
  5. Improper use of equipment is prohibited.
  6. No pets allowed in the play area.
  7. No glass containers allowed.
  8. Do not use equipment if it is wet.
  9. Proper footwear required. No bare feet.
  10. Anyone may be asked to leave the playground by an adult resident if they are not complying with the playground rules.
